The proposed research project is an inquiry into issues related to the development of instructional materials, the transformation of pedagogy, and the provisions of teaching resources to support the implementation of a new twelve year curriculum in Taiwan. The project analyzed existing government documents and research reports, especially reports from basic research concerning curriculum development and implementation commissioned by the Ministry of Education in the past few years. This report provides specific recommendations for policies regarding the development and transformation of teaching resources and teaching methods for the twelve year basic curriculum.
