This study investigates the systematic image (picture) of Taiwan's Grade 1-9 Curriculum Guidelines, anticipating to explore the role and to shape the goals of the next curriculum guidelines. "Complex thought" is adopted as the the theoretic basis for the whole process of investigation overall in this study. The research design includes the following steps:Literature review about the previous curriculum guidelines as well as its practice, discourse analysis, group discussion as well as experts' consultation, focus-groups forum composed of diverse positions in different region, completion of the report draft. Accoring to these inquiry conceptions, we construct the systematic image in humans, world and schooling dimension, and draw the concepts "spontaneity" and "interaction" and "symbiosis" as the core elements for the whole system. In conclusion, we present the future curriculum visions which are "joy of life, self-confidence of live, passion for learn, courage to create, wisdom of symbiosis, aesthetic of impromptu", and suggest them as the fundament for the embryo formation of the future curriculum guidelines.
