In 12-Years Basic Education, the curriculum guidelines have introduced many newly-designed curricula in response to the changes of the times and the development trend. Under the context of core competency, there will be new challenges in teaching and evaluation. Especially in the early stage of implementation, it is easy to be restricted by the familiarity of new guidelines, teaching habits and lack of experience. This study is specifically aimed at the newly designed curricula in the senior high school stage of the Natural Sciences, named the Inquiry and Practice of Natural Sciences, as well as the enrichment and expanded elective courses, understanding the development path and context of the course study, and the implementation of the school and classroom.
