This study aims to explore the existing problems of the Curriculum Guideline for Vocational Senior Schools enacted in 2010, the ideal vocational senior school curriculum for the future, the possible difficulties and their solutions, and the reasonable procedures and the suggested participants for the curriculum improvement and revision. The important findings are as follows. First, there are several problems needed to be resolved resulting from the eight issuses, including the position and merger of career clusters, Guideline itself and relevant laws and regulations, textbooks and teaching materials, school-based curriculum, project study, teacher training and curriculum dissemination, entrance examination and occupational certification, and practicum courses and required equipments, while implementing the Curriculum Guidelines for Vocational Senior Schools. Second, the ideal vocational curriculum for the future is to design the differentiated curriculum, to meet the students’ career needs which bound for advanced study or finding jobs and there are some difficulties needed to be solved. Finally, the suggested procedures and participants for the curriculum improvement and revision are proposed.
