A study on the basic characteristics of the key competencies and the principles of curriculum development in primary curriculum of compulsory schooling.
The key competencies comprise both essential learning tools and the major learning content required by human beings to be able to adapt, to develop their full capacities, to live and work in smooth , to participate fully in development, to improve the quality of their lives, to make appropriate decisions, and to continue learning. Define the common key competencies will help lead the development of school curriculum; and also must be approved by each stage of education to develop the continuing convergence of. The study aim to explore the content of key competencies and how are they developed in primary curriculum of compulsory schooling. Through literature review, focus groups, expert review of Delphi and other data collection methods and analysis from the project on the basic characteristics; the main structure of the key competencies at primary education stage 6-12 years. Core content of key competencies and the corresponding grade 1-9 curriculum the case, the principles of curriculum development and curriculum implementation and learning assessment and some other points, respectively, conclusions and recommendations.
