The aim of this research project is to investigate the status, characteristics and difficulties of life-education curriculum and teaching after the implementation of educational policies carried out by senior high schools in Taiwan. The research examines documents in relation to life-education policy in senior high schools in Taiwan. Five main aspects of life-education curriculum implementation are presented under documents review, i.e. background of life-education teachers, status of course opening, teaching resources and facilities, demands of teacher professional development and the situation of integration of life education into other subjects. For finding out the above five aspects in policy carried out, methods including documents analysis, experts consultation and questionnaire survey are adopted.
