NAER has long been entrusted to shoulder the responsibility of junior high and elementary school candidate principal training by MOE and local authorities. For helping these school candidate principals grow professional and sustainable, and empower them to cope with the current and future complex educational environment, it is necessary to explore and improve NAER current training courses and curriculum models. In brief, the three-year research main findings are as follows:
(1) In the first year of the effectiveness evaluation, it is proved that NAER current training courses are helpful and fairly good according to the surveys and interviews.
(2) In the second year of the effectiveness evaluation, the research found that professional demands for the candidate principals are, though still high, significantly reduced after the training. Besides candidate principals still show pretty high satisfaction with training programs.
(3) In the third year of the effectiveness evaluation, the research found that self-assessment of candidate principals gets significantly improved after the training.
(4) In this study, three homemade digital courses and six borrowed digital courses are evaluated. And it is proved that homemade digital courses are better and more suitable than six borrowed digital courses.
