The current study, “An inquiry regarding the Curriculum Transformation of the Implementation of National Curriculum Guidelines for Twelve-Year Basic Education in Senior High Schools,” is part of the research project, “An inquiry regarding the Curriculum Transformation of the Implementation of National Curriculum Guidelines for Twelve-Year Basic Education.” Based on the essential ideas, adaptive education through optional courses, attainments oriented general education, and self learning by flexible learning, while working with a few high schools it adopts Action Research methods to establish curriculum implementation supportive system and to develop exemplar cases. Meanwhile, it organizes and surveys the developmental experiences during the research activities for later recommendations when National Curriculum Guidelines for Twelve-Year Basic Education in Senior High Schools is officially implemented.
