Implementation of innovative National curriculum guideline is expected to initiate in 2019 in Taiwan, and one of its core visions emphasizes on care for disadvantage student groups and their individual special needs, and respect diversity. While research and supplementary packages were gradually undertaken with the upcoming policy revolution, rare research discusses the current performance gap between different Taiwan disadvantage student groups and its potential contributing factors with a comprehensive synthetic data. Grounded on above research background, the aim of this project is to synthesize large-scale assessment data Taiwan has participated to investigate aforementioned issues from a longitudinal perspective with quantitative synthetic method. The project is conducted in three years through a series steps of systematic reviews, inclusive of topic formulation, data collection and information coding, and moderator analysis. In sum, findings of this study as well as implications for policy makers, practitioner, and researchers will also be provided.
