The main purpose of this study is to explore the current situation and the relationship between senior high teachers’ activation teaching and their students’ adaptive development after 12 Basic Education Policy was implemented in Taiwan. Research findings are as follows: First, the students’ perceptions of activation teaching show that it’s in a good situation. Second, the students’ perceptions of their adaptive development show that it’s in a good situation. Third, the students’ perceptions of activation teaching show significant differences between different counties and different types of high school grades. Fourth, the students’ perceptions of their adaptive development show obvious differences between different types of high school students, public and private high school level. Finally, it is proved that high school teachers’ activation teaching has a positive effect on the students’ adaptive development at school. The suggestions of the study are the following: First, highlight and strengthen the activation teaching of high school teachers, especially community technical high schools. Second, the homogenization and excellence programs of senior high schools should give priority to community high schools.
